ripten.com— Some Dell laptops come with dissabled audio ports, after pressure from the RIAA. Dell will enable them for you for only $99. Bargin.

I've only bought from their business end. Thankfully I've dealt only with English, American speakers and they've sent tech support out the next day to fix whatever ailed my machine. Oh, and you don't have to own a business to purchase from their business side. I'd love for more people to stop trying to buy the cheapest computers. They are subsided by crapware, trojans, and poor design. It's my understanding that the XPS machines are handled by the business side of Dell. You get the extra service because you pay for it.
I personally disagree that Dell's tech support is horrible. In fact, I believe that the tech support from Dell, especially, the live chats are amazing. When my ac adapter broke from my misuse, they replaced it. When my keyboard broke from some water spillage, they replaced it. When my wireless adapter broke from being shorted out by the ac adapter, they replaced it. All for nothing. And this is the standard warranty.
