He never said mininova is a tracker. He said he's still sticking to private trackers, which makes sense given that mininova indexes torrents from public and semi-public trackers.

Yes, you could probably find the same DVD for sale on amazon or something in a few seconds. That doesn't mean I won't have to wait a week for it to show up on my doorstep. Instead I could download the same movie and be watching it in a couple hours.
