io9.com — While the audience waits impatiently for the final half-season of Battlestar Galactica, the cast and crew have already moved on... kind of. Tricia Helfer has been talking about her experiences on the show, from how little she knew at the start to the reaction of the cast to the end of the show... even though that end keeps on staying out of reach.

Burn Notice isn't that bad, it's like a train wreck I can't stop watching. If only he had more of a personality than a plank of wood and the producers of the show had any idea how to cut between scenes.

BSG is a love hate relationship with me. I love the show at times, but I hate the way I have to sit through 30 min of nothing to get the 10 min of interesting events on the show. Season 4 has felt like they had 3 or 4 great episodes written to end the show and someone decided to turn that into an entire season and throw so much garbage in that it's torture to sit through most episodes.Thank God for Tivo. Fast Forward button has gotten a TON of use so far this season. I'm actually looking forward to this thing ending because it's not fun to watch the show anymore, but it's still the only BSG fix on television so it's either this or nothing...

I'm honestly not looking forward to the whole "whatever happened before BSG" series that they're going to try and push on us. I mean, part of this show for me is "what happens next" and since we know what happened with Adama and everything I'm not exactly on the edge of my seat. Seems like it's going to turn into a military drama or something equally boring. I loved the edge-of-your-seat developments- I actually looked out my window when I saw them orbiting Earth. I want to know what will happen to those plucky humans next.

I think it's shown quite well how the humans can't sustain a life on the colonies after the Cylon attack. Think back to when Starbuck jumped back to Caprica to get the Arrow of Athena. Helo and Sharon were getting radiation sickness and had to take the treatments to deal with it. Although humans can be in radiation for a time... we can't be in it forever.

but that implies people from the 12 colonies really came from earth? or are they always replenished by the cylon homeworld in the form of clones? how do you do that with no black women or asian males? how do you have the cyclic history if everyone on earth died?that implies of course that dualla or an asian dude (hoshi?) is really the 5th
