sarcasticgamer.com — In an effort to raise awareness of EA's new QUESTIONABLE policy of charging EXTRA MONEY for GUNS in a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER, Sarcastic Gamer presents a twisted version of the game trailer that more accurately reflects this blooming trend. They are organizing a boycott of BF: BC.

I had pre-ordered the Gold edition for $70 from Amazon but now just cancelled it. The idea of charging for extra items is getting out of hand. Maybe if enough people show they won't take this from EA , They might change policies and this virus of an idea won't spread.

let's see..1.) Media-hyped in order to create the interest necessary to overprice the game from the start? check!2.) Pushed out in our production time-frame, wether done on not? (we'll patch it later, or move on to BF3) check!3.) In game advertisements and spyware without subsidizing the cost for the end-user? check!4.) Purchasable upgrades that produce unfair advantages in-game in order to tap into the wallets of those who can't get kills on their own? check!looks to me like EA has gone through their list and checked it twice. what will they think of next? (my money's not on the customer)

EA's motto is this: "We are EA. Lower your shields and surrender your gaming companies. We will add your electronic distinctiveness to our own. Your company will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile."Pretty fitting.

"We are EA, resistance is futile!"I don't buy any EA crap anymore. Check out the lunacy of their "limited activations" schemes. This has nothing to do with piracy and everything to do with forcing gamers to accept a pay-to-play paradigm. I hate these fascist corporate draconian tactics. I wasn't born yesterday. They must believe that we are all stupid morons eager to accept whatever they say.
