I will never forget watching the video of Henry Ford taking an axe to his hemp car and not being able to damage it. Hemp plastic and hemp steel are much stronger than the plastic and steel products we presently use. Of course the list of things hemp could be used for in industry is much too long to post here because not only does it make strong steel and plastic, but it can also be used to make any petroleum based product, clothing, etc. and it has many health benefits. I hope this legislation passes with flying colors and I am going to encourage my representative to co-sponsor it....I urge you to do the same.
This is what true bi-partisanship looks like. Finding common ground, supporting each other, and not compromising.Even with all my disagreements, I can support Barney Franks on this 110%. Hell, I might actually include a "but", followed by this fact, if I ever go on a rant about him sometime in the future just to be nice.
