ismashphone.com — Free. It's a four-letter word people love to hear, especially when it comes to purchasing Apps. If you are shelling out even a dollar for an App, you're guaranteed more bang for your buck, right? But it is not always necessary to fork over cash for a decent App, as free versions can provide almost an equal level of functionality and reliability.

All mine are free except the Koi Pond. I just had to get it for my 2 year old. Keeps her quite satisfied in restaurants. .99c FTW.

Most of my apps are free, with the exception of Subway and Enigmo. Subway is a cool little puzzle game, but Enigmo is the best $5 I ever spent.

iPhone: $200 - can be used with your current phone plan or any other regular plan you want to use (at least in Canada).Cheaper than an iPod.And don't complain about signing a contract because that's a cell phone issue not unique to the iPhone.
