Agreed. Think about it -- you could turn almost any product into a collectible with some cool design/image on the barcode.

Here's a pleasant thought: when the government forces us all to get UPC identification/tracking tattoos (Big Brother meets the mark of the beast, you know) at least we can be allowed a little creativity.

If we must have them, might as well have them look interesting. Japanese have always been creative in the art of packaging.
