youtube.com — Tonight in Wisconsin Barack Obama responded to the charges by the Clinton campaign that his candidacy is just based upon "words and hopeful ideas" and that he lacks the "substance" that would enable him to be an effective leader. From C-SPAN. Vote Obama on Tuesday and make it 9 straight victories!

That is probably one of the most shallow things I have read on digg. I honestly doubt that you have an extensive knowledge about Clinton or McCain. Listen, Obama is a great speaker, and all of his speeches seek to inspire and be extremely inclusive. That's all well and good, but you can't just listen to speeches, you have to look at his voting record and his issues. What I'm trying to say is that Obama isn't perfect, even lately. Him and McCain have been both working in Congress for campaign finance reform, and Obama offered before the primary that he would accept public finance support in the general election, if the Republic nominee did. ONLY McCain took him up on that offer even though at the time McCain was expected to raise more money, and guess what? Now Obama is backing away from the offer. Obama also continues misquote McCain on the "100 year war" issue in almost every speech even though McCain never said that, and even though he later clarified multiple times that he was saying that he would establish a permanent military base like in Japan or South Korea if the Iraqi government approved. I know Obama is intelligent enough to understand that position, but he continues to misquote McCain at every stump speech telling people that McCain actually wants to have 100 years of WAR.Again, Obama is an amazing speaker, and I actually agree with him on some issues, but he isn't inerrant. It is intellectually dishonest to treat him like he's perfect.

He talks real nice but he doesn't SAY anything. Remember, this is a politician making promises. When he's got your vote, you're screwed for at least 4 years.
