i'm not qualifying the remarks, i'm explaining them to you as you seem to have issues with reading comprehension. he did not state that teachers are more important than parents as you claim. he stated that teachers are more important to a child's achievements than the color of the parents skin and their economic standing. if you can't grasp that, i'd say your teachers failed at their jobs.let me know if you have any book reports you need help with.

See, I was accused earlier in this thread that I don't have an understanding of the article because of my anger towards Obama for his pandering comments.You see, the second part of his statement is a bunch of lies. He doesn't believe that, it doesn't fit his socialist agenda.For anyone who dismisses the former part of his statements and points to the latter as "proof" he's for parents first, you have a lot to learn about this man of "change."

You seem to forget that he's speaking in front of a crowd of teachers who represent one of the largest lobbies in this country.We pay more and more in taxes every year for education, and it actually gets worse. The government GETS what they pay for. If they wanted better education, they'd actually get it.
