Banshee is the player that I would really like to see succeed. I love the features they provide and the little things like G1 integration and a twist of cross-platform focus. That said, over the past year or so Banshee has been a big ball of crashtastic - my fingers are crossed though that this version will fix things.

I have a completely different experience. While the stability in the past hasn't been ideal, 1.4 has been rock solid.

Getting better every release. Good approach to handle all media I need even if stored at different locations. Can't wait for visualization support and an improved plugin API (missing a good way to work on the media streams, gst-sharp is not really production ready yet).

I install Banshee 1.5 using the Banshee-unstable Ubuntu PPA (<a class="user" href="https://launchpad.net/~banshee-unstable-team/+archive/ppa)">https://launchpad.net/~banshee-unstable-team/+arch ...</a> and when I select 'Media > Import Media...', Rhythmbox isn't an option.... Can someone explain how this "Rhythmbox Migrator" is supposed to work?
