youtube.com— A brave man walks through the teabagger protest on the National Mall in Washington, DC, with a large sign that reads "Public Option Now"

You're right about the last one, in terms of which affiliation they had. I just kind of assumed they were more liberal, seeing as how they're from San Fransisco.
Truth be told, I like his music. I'm sure I'll be buried for this but I think he's a great producer and a really good rapper (he can't sing, he has conceded this). But, that's not the point. The issue is not regarding his musical ability, it's his candor and behavior. He behaved obnoxiously and it was unwarranted. These outbursts were kind of cool at first (the Katrina incident) and I could understand others (stopping the band from playing him off at the Grammys to talk about his mom) but I feel that this latest outburst is tasteless. I don't like that people are vilifying him like he passed a bill allowing baby cats to be set on fire and I feel there are far more deserving stories of the front page. Still, he has to understand where he is in life. I know he used to be the one Polo in a sea of jerseys and that making a spectacle of himself was the only way he could garner attention but, that was then. He has made it now. As a child I behaved as such but when I grew up I put away such childish things. Kanye, you have arrived as far as one in your industry can at this point. You no longer need behave like this. You aren't evil incarnate, you aren't he who shan't be named. You are a dude that just needs to sit back and be thankful for all that you've accomplished. Otherwise, South Park will make a fortune in a spin-off series just about you. Please, just sit down and watch.
murmandamos: The tax payers do not cover "emergency room" coverage for the uninsured. This is a lie, a talking point that you've been brainwashed into believing. However, it is not true. Different facilities cover these expenses in different ways, and none of those ways are "tax money".

The subsidies for the poor are not tied to the public option, they can use that to buy private coverage too.

Because diggers are armchair cheerleaders? (Yes, I am one, too.)If you don't like the characterization, let's organize something then!

I dunno, we liberals do have our share of crazies. Don't assume that *everyone* would be civil just because *you* would.
