abcnews.go.com — Bad enough that they used their 6-year-old son in a national hoax (they're pleading guilty). Now, Richard and Mayumi Heene may face federal charges stemming from an ongoing civil investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration because the family's stunt caused some planes at the Denver airport to switch runways while the balloon was in flight.

I honestly can't believe there are people in this world as f**king stupid as you. How the f**k are you still alive being so incredibly worthless and stupid? This notion that "they wanted this" or that "All publicity is good publicity" is the dumbest f**king thing ever. I truly cannot believe that you have not been weeded out of the gene pool by now. Your parents should be shot in front of you for the terrible job they did in raising a functional human. These people did NOT want this. They are NOT happy with what is going on. They do not want the media to talk about them in this way. This has DESTROYED their lives, not helped it. Rest assured if they could get in a Delorean and travel back in time by 2 months, they would tell their past selves to NOT DO IT.

The government is being all to compassionate on this. Jailtime: yes. Deportation: Yes. I thought we were a zero tolerance society that would incarcerate a ten year old cub scout for accidentally bringing a knife to school.(I'm being only marginally sarcastic here).

I mean, really, who did they actually cause trouble for besides cops and news reporters? I see no foul...

They wanted publicity so they could be more "marketable" in a reality TV show. They succeeded, but unfortunately that show is the news media's stories on crimes.
