zion.demon.nl — Apparently launching a new portable software solution isn't that easy: after a major glitch in their software (making it impossible to install on some devices) MojoPac just shut down their forums, citing "an overwhelming number of requests from many of you who asked us to revamp our forums." Sounds more like a corporate spin doctor at work.

I agree. Seems like they're shooting themselves in the foot. My issue has been with a previously fine MojoPac install within a TrueCrypt encrypted partition suddenly refusing to work after an update to 1.0.1. (Actually, it neither runs nor updates, but rather seeks to install itself elsewhere ... somewhere more "USB 2.0 compliant".) A number of people, myself include, suspect that all this has to do with disabling the use of MojoPac with TrueCrypt.

Or ... maybe it has to do with RingCube trying to address the concerns of software developers whose software once installed within MojoPac environments, might be subject to easy piracy, as well as the potential piracy of MojoPac itself. (As pointed out in the digg posting, http://digg.com/software/MojoPac_Potentially_Great_Software_with_Serious_Flaws )
