I have a question first. Where was the bad news about each Iraqi that died needlessly? 200000, or the more official one million Iraqis.There were no news broadcasts about the vast majority of them, yet the US media have been crowing "Mission Accomplished!" through to "Surge is Working!". The US Media have been doing their damnedest not to show images of US casualties, and only show occasional images of Iraqi casualties.So the media may be picking up on a dead puppy. This was horrible, and showed what American soldiers can really be like after conquering a country. The puppy is not a human baby, and I am glad that it was not, but that figure of ONE MILLION did not come from nowhere. With maybe 200000 troops in Iraq in total since victory, that averages out to five needless deaths per soldier. Yes, the bad bad "Insurgents" are all to blame, but the deaths they cause are openly broadcast and account for less than ten percent of the deaths.There are good soldiers... but this piece has been rolled out by the good news crew to remind you why you watch the good news broadcasts and remind you why to ignore the bad news internet and the bad news foreign media.
