techdirt.com— Is it really so hard to allow open discussion on such a topic? If BT believes that it's reasonable to use the technology, then why not explain why clearly, responding to the critics?

Can't fault anyone for the bad methods they use to manage/censor their own forums. However, BT can't control every forum in the world. So they'll just have to accept that their stupidity will eventually come back to bite them when their customers, instead of coming to them for information, will just tell the rest of the world what's happening. Good way to make a localized problem become the subject of articles, headlines and tech-blogs world-wide. When will they ever learn? There are other Phorm-like companies trying the same things in other countries, so it's an issue that needs to be watched closely by all of us. c**kroaches like Phorm are only happy when they can operate in the dark. We can all help keep the lights turned on.
