thinkprogress.org — In response to our Stop Supporting The O’Reilly Harassment Machine campaign, UPS told us yesterday that it was investigating whether to continue supporting O’Reilly’s show. Today, UPS announced it will stop advertising on O’Reilly’s show. Here is the statement UPS emailed out just moments ago:

Part time jobs aside, UPS drivers are the highest paid in the industry. That is a fact.

Obviously I have, but your IQ is too low to grasp this simple concept.Clearly you're still crying about Obama.I'm not a commie, though I do have Libertarian Socialist leanings. Have a nice day!

to quote Ms. Tina Fey... "Bill O'Reilly is disgusting." I simply couldn't have said it better myself. Good for UPS.

I'd say his advertisers are substantially less "full of clout" then... Remember when he was in commercials for Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust when it first came out years ago? However, since I'm in the market for neither BS supplements & overpriced coins, I don't have to bother with boycotting products that advertise during his program.

"O'Reilly has the number one rated show on cable news and you're telling me UPS is going to pull their advertising because some leftist nutjobs want them to."a program's estimated number of viewers proportionately effects the cost to advertise during that show

"Susan Rosenberg, spokeswoman for UPS, previously issued this statement to ThinkProgress (3/30/09): We are writing to clarify our statement of last Friday because it appears to have been misinterpreted. UPS has not “pulled” any advertising from Fox News nor has the company taken a position on the “Think Progress” campaign. Our intent on Friday simply was to note that UPS does not have any pending advertising plans with the O’Reilly show."So there you go. It's the same thing that happened with the 09 election.
