nypost.com— President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.

Whine, whine, whine. You ignorantly stated that more than 50% of the American population disagreed with Obama without a single way to POSSIBLY back up your argument with demonstrable facts, and you still can't admit it.You have no idea how to "debate" as you've laughably put it.Show the evidence to back up your fatuous claim or just admit you were wrong and move on.
>snip<In fiscal 1999, the Department of Defense was “missing” $2.3 trillion dollars. To put that amount of money in perspective, it is approximately 3X what President-elect Obama is proposing to spend to revitalize America. In fiscal 2000, the Department of Defense was “missing” $1.1 trillion, about 1.5X what President-elect Obama wants to invest in America. So between October 1998 and September 2000, the Department of Defense was “missing” $3.3 trillion. Because the amount of money disappearing is so enormous, years ago we started a archive of articles on the “missing money” to try to keep up with the trillions sliding out of the federal accounts. From 1997 to March 2001, the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) who served as the chief financial officer for the Department of Defense was William J. Lynn III. In that position, he was the chief financial officer for the Department of Defense and was the principal advisor to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense for all budgetary and fiscal matters. That means he was the person responsible to make sure no money went missing and that the Department of Defense published audited financial statements — which it failed to do in those years and every year since. When Mr. Lynn left Defense in 2001, he joined DFI International and then in 2005 became the chief lobbyist for Raytheon. He was replaced at Defense by Dov Zakheim. >snip< http://solari.com/blog/?s=lynn

Nice catch about Carter, btw. I didn't even think to correlate the number of his EOs to his (thankfully) short time in office.

Those are two entirely different sets of data. I addressed approval ratings already; they don't mean much this early on, from a historical perspective. More to the point, the data I was citing is from election day, shortly before, and shortly thereafter, which is the relevant data when a Lefty comes out swinging with the absurd-on-its-face argument that "Obama won the election with X% of the vote, and thus X% of the population agrees with his policy Y." If you want more recent data, then how's about this, all less than a week old:59% Fear Too Much Government Spending Is Cominghttp://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/pol ...Most Say Tax Cuts Always Better Than Increased Spendinghttp://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/bus ...57% Say Tax Cuts Will Help Economyhttp://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/bus ...If I have to spell out how that's a disagreement with Obama on things, then you've been living under a rock.I won't bother going into the Rush stuff further, as it's obvious you're not even "listening" to the other side when you repeat the lie that Rush simply wants Obama to fail. You're likely one of those people who cried out about "sound bites" and "context" when Rev. Wright's patently obvious bigotry was exposed, yet didn't bother to get said context (which made him look far worse than the bites alone did), yet seeking the full story doesn't even cross your mind when it involves anti-conservative smears.
