@NorthNo, I don't find issue with where the bank spent emerency money as the Fed is one part of the government that always makes money and good choices. Knowing where the money went would put companies in harms way of runs on the bank, hostile take over and an unwarrented drop in stock price. I have no mistrust of the fed.@jivatmanxFirst off the classical economists got us into the deregulation mess, drumming the beat of more efficient markets they have taken us to the brink of disaster, they do not make good expert witnesses. A hard currency is simply not smart, the only way to react to changes in the market would to be to find new sources of the commodity. Needless to say most heavy metals have good uses and its a shame to move so much of it to a vault so it can remain useless. Fiat money has numerous advantages and I think the recent history of the fiat currency beats the pants off of commodity currency anyways. @ Sanderson9009Obama didn't tell me this, I go to college and I have study economics and finance even though my majors are political science and chem engineering. I have done my research and I understand the dicotomy of the situation, fed independence vs congressional oversight, and I have deemed that this is a witchhunt bill with far implications.
"No, I don't find issue with where the bank spent emerency money as the Fed is one part of the government that always makes money and good choices"There are two factual errors in this sentence.
again..umm yeah... almost 70% of the house is a cosponser of a bill... and we are 'crazy'?Looks like you are the fringe and you are bat s**t crazy. And you haven't been taking your meds again.Idiot. You make me question my thoughts on eugenics.
You are populous, you see in politics people try to score political points at times by demonizing and wrongly creating legislation. Just because 70% are with you does not mean you have a logical argument, 70% plus of congress was for the Iraq war and that turned out to be a bad thing. If you want to argue merit try again idiot. You make me question my thoughts on Eugenics. Here is some education read the part on independence http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_bank
Wishing death upon people you don't agree with says a lot about why the Paultards couldn't even win a single state in the Republican primary. You people are sad. And yes you're delusional, as shown by the fact that this spam you're defending couldn't stay on the front page for more than 2 minutes.
@ SandersonIf you want to know what harm it could do then call me or email me civicbuyer@yahoo.com, 510-491-5250.@ BennoPlease provide backup for your statements as I can easily show how the Fed makes money from buying and selling bonds.

Digg has been to a large part over-run by the anti-conceptual, mush brain, emo-heavy mentality.
