Tillman was murdered in cold blood, and the cover up had to come from someone higher than a 3 star general. On top of that Tillman was an atheist and was about to do an interview speaking out against the Iraq war. His diary was destroyed as well. The things the Bush administration has done to sell this war is reprehensible. This needs to make all the headlines. Tillman was killed in order to bolster support for the Iraq war!

Do you ever think for yourself anymore? Or do you let TV think for you? Remember the good ol' days back when being a conservative was being traditional, thinking for yourself and being an intelligent consumer, a noble person and a hard worker? Do you just like to pretend you're that guy, when in fact you're really a big pussy and an idiot that's a mouthpiece for criminals?

"I always respected him for leaving the NFL to join the army."...why would you respect someone for joining the army? That's quite a stupid statement. You do realize that the soldiers are not fighting for our freedoms, right?

Read the article. He joined because (1) he wanted to be a politician some day and believes it would be wrong for him to ever vote to send troops to war without ever serving himself, (2) he joined before the war in Iraq when we were still doing some good in Afghanistan and (3) he knew he had the moral fortitude to be a positive force in the army as a opposed to some of the 18-19 year old hothead kids serving.

He joined before the Iraq war when we were still fighting Al Queda in Afghanistan. He was killed there, not Iraq. In fact, he was against the Iraq war.
