Considering most hackers don't waste time writing code for the small minority of linux and apple OS's, I would say you are right. Has nothing to do with security, it has to do with statistics.
Never said that, I'm saying 99% of hackers don't waste their time for the small number of osx/linux boxes when they can write it for windows which gives them vast targets used by the majority of the planet.There are viruses for linux you know.
