tsn.ca— "Avery parked at the edge of Brodeur's crease and waved his arms wildly in a bizarre effort to distract the Devils' goaltender. He also waved the blade of his stick back and forth in front of Brodeur's mask."

I respect Brodeur a lot for not just hitting Avery's stick down with his glove. It shows a lot of patience and focus. It was a pretty childish act by Avery too.
Avery is a horses ass of a hockey players, but he is one that the other 29 teams in the league would want to have: scores goals, is abrasive and take the body, and is very difficult ot play against. And you watch, as he will be getting a lot of interest this summer on the free agent open market place...if the Rangers let him get away.

I love how his own teammate comes up to him and tells him to stop, but then he just continues.

There's a really nice figure skating championship on cable tonight that should fulfill your needs then. Enjoy.

If there's nothing wrong with that, then I think the league needs to tighten its policy on defensive douchbaggery in the crease area.
