iTunesRegistry is cool. It has stats of all my music but I really wish it would not count podcasts I have like 90 podcast episodes of diggnation, TWiT, Security Now all together. So it said that I listen to NoFX the most but spend more time listening to twit and diggnation. Interesting...
On KDE (Linux, BSD, OS/X with X server), the amaroK has already been doing that for a while. Very handy. As far as legal issues go, I think you can keep the images on your PC for a set period of time (I can't recall what it was exactly, but I think it's the order of two months or something). So basically you have to re-fetch the images once the period is over (amaroK deletes them after the time period to comply with the letter of the law, but there is already a user script to keep the images on your disk and make the player get them there instead).Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

This was a pretty cool program, I was a little skeptical at first, but I was thoroughly impressed. The obvious downside is that those not-so-mainstream titles were either confused with other artwork or not found at all; however, I was surprised to see some rare titles found.
