this is OK for average user, I'll stick with my monthly slipstream. For people who fix like one computer a week or a month sure this is fine. but if I'm doing 3-5 installation in one night. Its a lot faster and easier to throw in my CD who has all the update up till 1st of March and install XP and once its done all updates are already there.Even if your not comfortable in slipstreaming. there is usually a monthly Windows XP image that floats around torrent sites that is already done for you that you can download and burnAgain. point being I rather have everything install together than having to install updates after wards.Hail to laziness

Don't they know that 80% of us don't even *see* their ads?

This is an amazing idea. I've read about slipstreaming, but my attempts at doing so have not fared very well. Having one tool to update a fresh install of XP or 2000 would be wonderful. It's also pretty good timing, considering I'm going to be formatting and doing a fresh install of XP within the next few days...EtG

"How many times have you had to reinstall a someones Windows OS onsite?"Loads."How many times has that person only had a 56k modem to download the Windows updates?"Hardly ever in the 21st century.

Or you can order it from autopatcher.com for the price of the CD + shipping... and soon to be on a USB stick as well.Oh, and there's a torrent mirror too:http://torrent.autopatcher5.mirror.ineedhosting.net

It's not true. Microsoft release updates on the second Tuesday of every month. AutoPatcher releases happen the same week or the week after, usually, so unless the release is 3-4 weeks late in being released then... no.Stop trolling.
