"The Paulites' enthusiasm for liberty, their unapologetic defense of core conservative principles, their awareness that in the new millennium, these principles of small government, self-reliance, cultural pluralism, and a humble foreign policy are more necessary than ever - no lover of liberty can stand by and not join them."Speaking as a young, gay, immigrant moderate who supports Ron Paul AND thinks Islamic radicals are insane and that 9/11 "truthers" are relentless fools, I have to say: This comment is right on the money. Support for Ron Paul can be drawn from a wide spectrum of the political electorate. What's important isn't the man, it's the message, and freedom is popular!
I admire Sullivan for admitting where he himself had been wrong on the Iraq war because I too was this way. I too wanted to carry a big stick after 9/11. Hell, it was enough to make me enlist. It was enough to make me vote for Bush a second time. But - It's time we did something different.

If we get an honest vote count we will win in 2008.
