This guy was off his medication for weeks, according to morning reports today. And for those who think MORE gun laws and controls are necessary, this guy had legally purchased his firearms, and they were registered to him. Illinois has some of the most stringent gun laws in the country. The answer is NOT more laws that police cannot enforce!
All European countries are considerably smaller than the U.S. and thus much easier to manage. Also the founders of this country CAME from Europe and created the second amendment for a reason which relates to the end results of a government with guns and a citizenry without guns. If the entire establishment gets rid of their guns I will get rid of mine. Gun control idiots are people who seem to have this blind trust in their government which causes more problems than I can think of. The problem is that most Americans are at a point where they expect the government to fix all the problems. The problem is not from a lifeless piece of steel it is the person behind it. I found a blog that is VERY busy as it consists mainly of NIU students and apparently they have made the point to protest the Westboro nuts if they attempt to disrupt tonights vigil. Some claim that they will physically remove them from campus.
A s**t ton of innocent people run when there's a guy shooting people. I'm just saying there is a serious potential for somebody playing hero to get mistaken for a killer, say, perhaps, if he isn't as well trained as you.
Who are you defending yourself from? This state of constant fear, where the invisible enemy is always around the corner is not a sane way to carry out your life.Put away your guns and invest trust in your fellow citizen. They're not that crazy. You refuse to point out the fundamental differences between the US and other non-gun crazed nations.Murder is NOT an intrinsic human desire. Stop carrying guns and you'll see that you're not going to get shot by your neighbours.
dont know if you will read this or not since this article is 10 days old, but like kpmoore said below me, stricter gun laws would only affect the law abiding citizens. Do you really think that a bad guy is going to all if a sudden abide by those new laws? Im not saying that we need to loosen the gun laws, i think they are fine the way they are (at least in New Mexico). However i find it ironic that in Illinois, a state with the toughest gun laws, this type of shooting happened. What did the bad guy not pay attention to the law that said "no guns on campus"i didnt think so

didn't stutter. Evolution has corrupted peoples' minds and now they don't see any reason they shouldn't kill.
