theridiculant.metro.co.uk — Yes, you read that right. A used MP3 website. And no, it doesn't seem to be a joke, Currently in beta; you have to request an invitation to sign up. If it ever launches (which we'd bet one second-hand Menswear MP3 it never will) then you might see a new record set for time from launch to first lawsuit. Either that, or they'll be billionaires

No. Do pawn shops? No. Car dealerships, that's about it, but only because it's possible to trace the items - but you can still find chop shops that don't ask questions.

Well, I never said it makes it more legal, but it does take a bit of liability from them. Considering they are only trafficking "legal used mp3s", and that the only "profit" you can get from them is their own currency which you can only use on other songs, it kind of makes it useless to upload countless illegal songs to trade for other songs....why not just cut out the middle man and download the songs yourself?

For this to have any chance of being considered legitimate sellers would only be able to sell their mp3 once. If they did it twice the question would be Why did you rebuy an mp3 that you have already sold at a cheaper price? This would prevent prices getting as low as some people expect them to.

I prefer to download "new" DRM-free music for as low as 0.09 per track from various sites compared at http://www.squidoo.com/myboombox
