It's amusing how you think this is all about a bunch of rich white guys on wall street. Partly, it is, but the biggest reason for this bailout, as you call it, is to preserve the economy and to rectify the mistakes made by millions of people who took out mortgages they could not afford, purchased property that was highly over valued, and then defaulted on their loans.The lenders and borrowers are culpable in this mess.
