I had similar issues years ago. Migranes that appeared out of nowhere. Splitting, nearly causing me to faint sometimes. Got to the point where I couldn't stand it and it was interfering with my work. Dr said I needed more rest and told me to take aspirin more often (!!) and prescribed muscle relaxants to no avail. Also had muscle palpitations and weird spasms. In my arms and legs. My neck would twitch for nearly 30 minutes at a time. This made it difficult to sleep, if you could imagine! I was told it was "heredity" and to "get more exercise and drink more water."..Needless to day, that didn't help much and the s**t continued, unabated. Soon as I quit sugary aspartame-laden soft drinks cold turkey, no more Coke, Root Beer, and 7up, all that s**t DISAPPEARED. No more muscle spasms, no more migranes! I don't believe it was any mere coincidence either. I used to drink A LOT of that s**t too. At work, when I came home to relax, for lunch, dinner, you name it. Like it was my fuel or something! Aspartame is in so many things. It really is a poison. The sooner you get the poop out of your life and out of your body the better. You may be having problems you aren't even aware are caused by aspartame crap. That Dr's won't even relate to it as the cause. Most every single sweetened product on the market contains aspartame. Watch out for Neotame too. It's the same garbage under different title.

Aspartame changes the dopamine level of the brain. Aspartame could have easily been sold as rat poison, but there was also another use. ...http://www.wnho.net/to_firefighters_union_members. ...
