seroundtable.com — I am sure many of you have seen the commercials or the billboards for "The Algorithm" campaign. It turns out that many ordinary people are confusing the campaign to be a Google campaign, when in fact, it is an Ask.com campaign. How about you? I am very curious what Diggers think...

Am I the only one that did not know they were talking about their search algorithm? I thought they were just using some complicated buzz word that the guys knew and were so happy about and the one guy didn't use ask.com so he had no clue. I should google the meaning behind ask.com's commercials before I post here.

When I saw it, I thought it was Google... but then was confused that Google had an advertising campaign, then the page loaded and I scrolled down and never thought of it again until now.

Ok for all you people out there that keep saying "you're dumb if you thought it was google, it says Ask.com right on it", here are some pictures I found (ironically through google)http://valleywag.com/tech/mystery-billboards/asks-advertising-campaign-249274.phpWhen you're driving down the highway you see the giant lettering and not the tiny (read invisible) Ask.com.Now you can see why people are mistaking it.
