Very interesting but keep in mind that this was written in 1947.Today's views have changed, most Arab countries are willing to accept an Israeli state only if they make peace and leave the Palestinians alone.Arabs never hated Jews, it's a myth promoted by Israel to justify their war crimes to the international community (in general, but there is extremists who do hate Jews not because of them being Jews but because of what they do to Palestinians), and this is cowards behaviour to blame the people who never did something to them anti-semitic, just for the record
We have to remember too, that it's not necessarily Jews per se that should be targeted but rather the issue of Zionism, which is creating the bigger problems of Israeli policies.
um... Arabs did have a peaceful relationship with jews... as long as jews "knew their place."otherwise, there was bloodshed. muhammad killed jews when they "didn't know their place." but after they had surrended, it was cool. just pay a tax, and follow dhimmi rules making them second class citizens, it was cool, there was peace.and if the peoples of the area were arabs it was not by some pretty process as king abdullah makes it out to be. the ottomans and turks didn't exactly get peoples to assimilate into the culture, but otherwise converted people by the sword.if i'm willing to be corrected in this matter though. i'll admit that the letter did have some very interesting points, but seemed naive in regard to world events.

It's good to be reminded that Arabs have had a longstanding peaceful relationship with the Jewish people and not a bloody one.

wow, right, so as long as the jizya and they fell under sharia, it was okay for jews to live right?
