torrentfreak.com — The six individuals who are arrested for allegedly sharing music on the OiNK BitTorrent tracker, are due to report to police at the start of July. The five men and one woman, who are suspected of conspiring to defraud the music industry, will have their bail extended. Unsurprisingly, the police need more time to make their case.

Good luck to these 6 people who haven't even committed a criminal offense...yet they're treated like criminals.

conspiracy to defraud is illegal but if you take it apart conspiracy means multiple people organizing a crime and defraud means to cheat some out of something. Because of 'defraud' the argument is, "Did those people take something from the RIAA?" the RIAA says they are loosing money over it but the facts show otherwise. A court case like this is facts vs believing a major organization that is hell bent on paying people off. The RIAA can't prove they are being cheated out of anything just like they can't prove that when you go into a music store and listen to the music before buying it is stealing.Any legitimate judge should dismiss these cases of the 6 uploaders + Oink himself. I admit Alan was a bit of an introverted douche bag at times but he doesn't deserve any of this. And yes I've talked to him both before and after the bust. RIP Oink.
