I really get tired of hearing the "poor persecuted christian" line. It gets really old.Christians are so quick to talk about how 90% of americans are Christians and how we should be a theocracy, but the moment someone wants to put up a "holiday tree" they're suddenly a persecuted minority that's losing it's identity. You can't just pick whatever point serves you best to win an argument.

I don't follow your thinking. By giving up religion, we'll suddenly all love each other and be peaceful? What do you think more likely came first, humans fighting each other or religion?The major problem with your idea is that you are preaching it to me, somebody who already is relatively happy with what they have. However, there are several billion people on this planet who probably aren't. You too are a "have" in this world. How much are you willing to give up?

Sometimes statements are so full of s**t you don't know where to start when replying to them. It's almost not worth it. Camel, I am a soldier and have been in for three years. You need not assume that being in the Army implies advocacy of what is happening in Iraq. Some wars have been fought that *were* essential to your freedom, and if the country were comprised of pussies like you things would be a lot different in the world today. Sometimes it is the right thing to free others from oppression or threat of death, like in WWII. Millions have been saved by war. That doesn't mean all wars are good, but you get the point. As for the people "that pose no threat" to us, there are many who do. 2001 showed us they exist. You don't like to see people killed, but that doesn't mean all problems will go away if we just lay down our guns and sing "Blowin in the Wind" with the terrorists. There are bad people out there. People who want you dead. Yes, you, event though you hate war and never would hurt a fly. They hate you for not being Muslim and even more for being atheist. The soldiers in the US Armed Forces have volunteered to protect you or die trying. You sound like a f**king ingrate when you talk about "wholesale slaughter" and "murdering brown people". Decisions to invade Iraq were not made by soldiers. Save your venom for someone else.Oh yeah, see if you can locate those testicles you misplaced.
