blog.washingtonpost.com — The Army's public affairs office publishes a daily roundup of Army-related news called "Stand To". Tuesday's edition contained an entry that struck me as unusual -- both for its headline and its patent political bias: "Obama: World peace thru surrender." Have any of these people actually read the Obama defense policy papers or speeches?

They're good noble soldiers who want to help. I can respect that. But there's a lot of s**t in the world and they can't fix all of it. Are they fired up to go to Darfur too? There's a whole city in America that needs rebuilding. We could also use their help sandbagging Iowa. Hell, there's work to be done in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Thanks neognostic. That's what I love about Obama, he's willing to change his stance based on how things evolve and what needs to be done. He's not all about being right the whole time, rather doing what's best.

Obama is an apologist, ashamed of the history of America. He's a member of the party whose Senate leader declared the war in Iraq lost while our soldiers were still in battle..and whose speaker discredited our troops by stating that their actions were not responsible for victory, the enemy just quit.... NO ONE from this party will ever get my vote
