Could one of the people who buried my comment please explain why they did so? I thought it was a funny and relevant story...Side note: Karl (my neighbor) died of a heart attack a few weeks ago, right in the middle of a marathon. He was über-fit, running to and from work every day.

americans are taught "english" for 12 grade levels, yet our nation has an average reading level of a middle schooler. i hardly think it's the fault of teachers with "accents" and is more endemic of an intellectual lazy society, which can be evidenced by those supporting the passing of this legislation.
