politico.com — Barely four months into his presidency, Obama is confronting growing dissatisfaction among members of his liberal base, who feel spurned by a series of his early decisions. A few, like MSNBC?s Rachel Maddow, have even hurled the left?s ultimate epithet ? suggesting that Obama?s turning into George W. Bush.

Seriously guys. You know you can't judge a president until halfway through his second term!

That's a pretty loose definition of "successful" you must be going with. Her version of running things in Alaska is to be completely segregated and cut off from the rest of the USA as much as possible --- why would we want that kind of attitude in the White House, the last thing we need is to alienate the rest of the world even more.

What's funny is that the crap recently pushed by the History channel is pointing towards the whole "Atlantis had nukes" point of view that man was visited by giants/fallen angels/watchers earlier in history guiding us ever since "they" tampered with our DNA to try and turn man into their own slave race. They have been guiding us for a long time and the whole point of the NWO is to try and retain the control that they have gained over humanity during the 2012 period of time. The point is to keep people dependent on the system they created, because people won't know what the f**k is going on when Earth gets pissed off entering the dark rift. Why do you think it's really translated "New Order of the Ages"? Aquarius is on it's way and they hope that you remain stupid to their esoteric mystery school BS.Instead of looking within themselves for help, they look outward always hoping someone else with be their savior.

I was trying to say neither party supports any reasonably large changes (and did, you must have missed the 'or' part). But I guess you can take what you want from my post and try to make yourself feel superior by keeping your reply to a generic "you're ignorant even though I have nothing to back this up" post.

They aren't really as bad as you suggest. Your argument makes it sound as though the Mob rule idea would lead to extremitism... which isn't the case at all. Public opinion more often than not walks right down the centerist lane and leans liberal (as most believe if it isn't harming them, then why should they care). When Madison was arguing against democracies during the constitutional conventions he wasn't doing so to protect anything but the elite minority. They thought the majority of poor and lower class had no business in government or deciding how the country was ran. They believed those that own the country ought to run it.You say yourself the founding fathers disagree with me, and you are right. They also disagreed with me about slavery and a plethora of other issues. The point is as a people we socially and civily evolved. And in the respect of a goverment built upon the foundation that the elite must always have power to annoint those they want to and control the system, I believe we will evolve out of this system into a system that represents the ideals views and needs of the many over the few at the top.

Going to look it up. It wouldn't suprise me if this were true. Sadly. Noam Chomsky gets shafted by every major media source. Not suprising really at all.

Human Rights and Privacy are right issues, not left. Left issues are deciding someone else's rights for them and invading people's privacy for govermental purposes.

I'm glad Bill Clinton version 2.0 is here to save the day. More band-aids will definitely do the trick. Whatever, our republic died a long time ago. The Constitution is void and null. Thank you neocons for our wonderful empire. The American people lose once again. Game Over.
