alternet.org — "Comedy is so unfeminine," says comedian Judy Gold. "It's so powerful. I mean if you think about it, it's you and a microphone and a bunch of people listening to you." Gold thinks society is still not accustomed to women having that power. "For a woman, it's like, 'That's interesting, keep it to yourself, shut up,'" she says.

Let me know when you find a funny woman

Maybe its because female humor is always based around yapping about a vagina. To the 3 female comics that don't do that, act overly perverted, or use some stupid gimmicky voice, thank you.

So is this an actual fact? I would love for women to be more funny. All the ones I hang out with don't even try.

This has actually been on my mind this week. I've always thought that I was attracted to girls with a sense of humor, but I realized that I've never been very attracted to a funny girl (Elaine from Seinfeld, Tina Fey...and my friends that happen to be hilarious and female). That could change, of course.
