And electrical impedance is electrical impedance, not defending these cables, but if I was going for a 10+ft HDMI cable, or a permanent in wall setup I'd go for a more expensive cable for sure, like Monster. You have to remember 1's and 0's are voltages, and if there is enough noise the signal will end up in the forbidden region and the output device won't be able to tell if it's a 1 or a 0.
