Hooray! More years of driving a petrol powered car await. Mind you, that was close. I've been s**tting myself constantly for the last 15 years about that.
Dick Cheney's office has just received SUPER-SECRET EMAILS indicating there's an Al-Qaeda Cell living under the Arctic icecap in a biodome secretly built by the Iranians for the purpose of launching WMD against America! We should bomb the Arctic IMMEDIATELY with nuclear bunker busters, and then go in there and get that OIL!We'll need to call up 50,000 more retired reservists! Sorry, guys, no underwater breathing apparatus will be supplied by the US Military! Halliburton will manage the infrastructure needs!
"Hell, petrol probably powers the equipment that gets fossil fuels out of the ground now."You better beleive it does! All big machinery for this stuff is generally running off of deisel fuel. Whether it be directly or indirectly to generate electricity.

Well, at least it will be nice and cool for that war. No more God forsaken rathole countries in the scorching desert.

Innovation is driven by adversity. Someone will figure out a way to retrieve it if a profit can be made.
