engadget.com — Archos wasn't joshing around with this whole WiFi bit, and while that 604 WiFi of theirs might've gotten dinged a bit in the reviews, it seems that they're back for more with this new 704 WiFi that the FCC so kindly has revealed to us.

actually they make reliable and unpretentious stuff. good specs for the money and not hard to use.total simpletons might need to use an ipod though the interface is "easy to use"

i use archos av500 for my 1 hour train commute. it has been unbelievably reliable. I have replaced my ipod twice and it is used 1/10th of the archos.

Archos... built tough on a Linux based OS, and it simply works...periodI use my 605 everyday, run out of room, pop another SSD card into it to expand the storage :)
