I'm such a treehugger (actually just not into wasting money on bottled water anymore). I put tap water in the used bottled water bottles. All I have to worry about is my wife throwing them out before I get to them.

That study never has been done here. We have a man made lake for the majority of our water. There have been dead and decomposing bodies pulled from it. Some bodies were never found. Other than that, the water would be considered more brackish than anything else. So they filter it through rocks and chlorinate the hell out of it. Some days it smells like a lake, sometimes a pool, and even more times it's cloudy and thicker than water should be. It's really nasty. I've never had bottled water that bad. Also, how can OR water have more poisons and heavy metals than it did before? Sounds suspicious.

Well it didn't taste like water from natural springs....

Wow, this is making lots of people talk and get excited! Honestly, I'm not sure what the big deal is. Aquafina did not claim to be spring water so therefore it has to be purified regular water. They're just going to clarify more on their label so that others are not confused. I think it's great they're taking these extra measures to explain where the water comes from.
