They better wise up and add support for exchange server, or this will just be another toy.

A lot of people are making comments like, "Everybody does this - it's no big deal." When I first read it I thought "Like they already do for the computers and iPods?"They must be talking about more than simple firmware upgrades to make an announcement like this. The updates and/or new apps should be significant for them to say this. If in fact they were just talking about ordinary firmware updates, then yes, this would be a stupid announcement.

I can see how supporting Exchange Server would be a great feature, but I don't think it will make or break the iPhone.

I would love to hear how they reconcile this with the the previous info that Sarbones-Oxley prohibits exactly this.Honestly, I read this headline and it reads like "Yes, the 1.0 versions suck, but don't get turned off."

I don't want one until I can install VLC on it and watch all the media I already have.
