The iPhone is off to a good start, macs sales are skyrocketing and Apple software is selling more than ever before. Plus share price is through the roof compared to a year ago and just keeps going up.All in all, Apple are doing pretty damn good at the moment.

I just wish they would have the option (for maybe a dollar extra) to mail you the booklet that comes with the CD. Like you said they have the distribution. I think the only thing that's missing from the digital music scene is track listings and album art. They don't have to produce the actual CD's the consumers might burn them if they want to. But it would be nice that if I wanted to I could have the option to receive it.

Was going to say the same thing ... first we need the beatles on ITMS, then Apple Records. Sounds like a success story already.

Are you serious? Jay-Z has survived selling multi-platinum RAP albums for over a decade. A decade. In rap. Usually rap artists only have the longevity of cornflakes in a bowl of milk. Beyond that he helped start Rocafella records, a label that spawned many other acts and a behemoth fashion label. As the President of Def Jam he's done even more signing off on huge new acts like Rhiana and helping Nas relaunch his career. His remix album with Linkin Park was hug and he's indirectly responsible for the existence of Gnarls Barkley (Danger Mouse's Grey Album was a mash-up of the Beatles and a Jay-Z Album which gave him his big break). Yeah, he has no longevity or influence whatsoever.

> this will absolutely not happenSorry, did you mean to post that to the "Apple to switch to Intel" rumor discussion from 2 years ago? Or the "Apple to offer iTunes for Windows" rumor? Or the "Apple to sell full-length movies via iTunes" thread? Seems to me we're well past the point of knowing with absolute certainty what Apple will do next.
