@diggapleaze: It is not really seeded like a torrent. you have to download it. Poor choice of words but they allways use it . Probably because apple+seed is "clever".

"Wasn't Linux or Unix the first OS to use multiple virtual desktops? I first saw them in Solaris"I first saw them running on the Amiga. 1985, October I believe.

this is sooo not a digg. What is the point of telling people what the devs are allowed to look at? That would only be news if the company didn't then respond to issues raised by those developers (sound familiar Micro$ft?). Digg when we get a release, or better still, digg the dev's complaints!

When you insert the MacOS installer disc, you're presented with three choices: 'Erase & Install', 'Archive & Install', and 'Upgrade'. For the best reliability, I would recommend going with the 'Archive & Install' option instead of a simple upgrade. It basically works like a clean install, with all your apps, files and settings transferred seamlessly. For point upgrades (10.4 -> 10.4.1, etc.), a simple update is fine; but for major releases (10.3.x -> 10.4, etc.), I find it best to use the 'Archive & Install' option. I only say this because it seemed the simple upgrade installation option has caused problems for me and others in the past, with minor glitches that were solved by using the 'Archive & Install' option.
