businessweek.com — There has been little activity out of Cupertino on the iPod front recently. But hints of new products are in the air. The waning of August has kids getting ready to go back to school — and Apple Computer watchers wondering when Steve Jobs is going to pull the next iteration of the iPod music and video player out of his turtleneck.

Better value for someone who can afford that 50 dollars. Maybe someone doesn't want all that space and size.

I have been looking for a pair of decent bluetooth headphones, but it seems like each one I find, there's something crazy wrong with them. I want a pair that goes around the back of the head, which Logitech makes, but when you look at the user reviews on newegg, the band snaps. I mainly want to use them for listening to music/Neuro Programmer sessions when going to sleep. I hate having a cable accross me, plugged into the laptop. I tend to have to sit the laptop on the floor, so that I don't risk accidentally pulling on the cable and have it come crashing down. I would be very greatful for some decent bluetooth headphones, or bluetooth support on the ipod. Would save me a lot of hassle, and I don't really care too much about audio quality.

you're right about apple making people use itunes on the mac side, but they have ALWAYS given PC users the choice between musicmatch and itunes. if WMP had it's s**t together back then, maybe they would have made the ipod connect with that as well, but... that didn't happen.and what's so "old looking" about itunes?

"Apple has long been rumored to be working on a living-room product, something more elaborate than the iPod hi-fi speaker system announced in February."That rumor is about 6 years old.

Oops, some part was missing... I wanted to say that the PSP also uses MPEG-4.

can't really install WMP11, as i'm on a mac, but from the screenshots... i don't think i'd want to either. aqua-esque interface? flashy useless s**t? no thanks. i'll stick to apples minimalism over any "improvements" that MS has.
