apple.com— The new Apple.com website has quite a bit of surprises. While looking though the its iPhone technology section I learned they updated their 3D demonstrations. Pretty cool.

I easily type 35-40wpm using the thumboard on my phone--about three characters per second. The multitouch keyboard might be great for hunt-and-peckers, but it's going to be awful for anybody who prefers to touch type. Zooming the keys isn't going to help any.
Supposedly five hours of video, talk, or browsing and I think 16 hours of audio. Even assuming those numbers are correct, keep in mind that's not accounting for standby time and it's all inclusive. Watch a movie, make a few calls, and browse the web for a bit and your battery is shot. Most people will have to charge it every night, and some people may not even be able to make it through the day. Also keep in mind that the battery will likely lose about 20% of its capacity in two years, so you'll be down to four hours of use. No user replacable battery (argh!) so you'll have to take it in to have the battery replaced.
I also tried:- wingtip of a Cessna 152 - NO- a spork - NO- an unopened back of bubbalicious (strawberry) - NO- the shifter knob of a 2004 Corvette - NO- M&M's (but not the green ones. Those were all gone for some reason) - NO- The handle of a hello-kitty lunchbox - NO- a Sakajawea Dollar - NO- a ticket stub from the Broadway smash hit "The Jersey Boys" - NO

Would the act of Apple revving their product make the one you purchased suddenly stop working?

I had a problem viewing them in Vista, but not XP - the problem does exist.
