Oh, Mr. English. I swoon at your name. However, your capitalisation is a little off. The "y" in "You" should have been uppercase. The "T" in "truly" should have been lower-case.Your grammar isn't perfect, either. It's "a vowel", not "an vowel", so you've just taught a lesson that you haven't learned yourself.Yours truly, Mr. John Q. Grammar.

How can you not love Apple? Apple is simply the greatest company ever led by the greatest CEO ever. Apple is pure and unadulterated innovation from top to bottom. If it were not for Apple, computers today would still have no mouse and no GUI. In fact there would be no Microsoft either because there would have been no one for it to steal ideas from and then claim "innovation"!

I have a working Lisa myself. : ) I need to check the time line but didn't the lisa OS come before the PARC visit? So Apple had a working commercial GUI shipping in the Lisa before ever seeing anything from them if I am not mistaken. My dates could be off, that was a long time ago. heh.

@phoompOh yes it's clear there are many multi-touch devices now, I just meant to say that I haven't seen them with my own eyes around me. But most people I know have pretty 'normal' phones with a regular keypad etc.Anyhow, I think that the innovation here was not bringing multi-touch to the devices, but coming up with a user interface that's very well suited for that.
