gizmodo.com — The App Store approval process has always been mysterious, slightly ridiculous and mildly infuriating. But with the summary execution of Google Latitude as well as every Google Voice app, it's finally gone too far.

Or get a Windows Mobile, Android or Blackberry phone?

I've been a Mac user for years and love my iPhone. I'll be switching to Android because of this. I probably won't be buying a Mac to replace my laptop either.

Right, because ending your current contract is just that easy.

Iphone may have flopped everywhere else but it seems to be a monopoly in the US.

> so my guess is that you bought your IMac because it was pretty and shiny and had the Apple logo in front? Umm... no. Credit for having a go at making a best guess assumption with the information you gleaned about me from a few lines but I've been into Apple stuff for a fair few years. Owned many different generations of iPod, and owned a variety of PowerPC and Intel based Macs now. I do adore OSX and it was a tough decision chosing to divorce myself from it but I did so for two reasons. My primary reason was because of my continued disappointed with the iMac range. Apple have never actually built the system I've always wanted - something resembling a Mac Pro 'Junior' - something reasonably powerful, without the built in screen and basically upgradable (RAM, graphics, HDD). My iMac was feeling in need of an upgrade - I'd already stacked out the RAM to the max and that was it. When I realised that I could sell it for an amount of money which would easily buy me a nice homebuild PC with much better specs, it became a no brainer. The second factor was Windows 7 which is looming round the corner. I was looking forward to Snow Leopard, don't get me wrong - but I've never really quite felt at home with OSX. Vista was bad enough to make me leap away from it like I would leap from a burning building, and Leopard felt so much more sophisticated and elegant than it. However Win7 looks to have turned out really well, resolving all of the issues I had with Vista in one fell swoop and for that I feel it deserves another chance.

Wow turbo, that's just a piss-poor attitude. Why even bother living if you're not even going to try to make the world a better place? I guess you don't recycle because, "hey, my contribution won't make a difference?", and you litter because "hey most people don't so when I do it's only a little it won't make a difference". The point is that yes, they'll still sell a lot of iPhones, but if they keep alienating customers they will lose a bunch of those customers which will hurt them. Even though you're only one voice, you are not "unimportant" in that many small contributions can lead to a huge effect.Just sayin'
