apple.com — Apple today released iTunes 4.8, an update to its digital music jukebox software and its client for the iTunes Music Store. Version 4.8 includes new Music Store features and support for transferring contacts and calendars from your computer to your iPod (requires Mac OS X version 10.4 on your computer), according to the documentation.

Well the poster is wrong that it only works with 10.4, if you click on the link the macos version requirements are right there "Mac OS X v10.2.8 or later"
