I have installed the update and it has a few advantages such as less crashes (faster bootup), fix of the buggy slow typing problem, and some other minor bugs. People should not be complaining - the big 2.1 update is coming in a few and I hope it fixes the big problem of 2.0 that is apps randomly f-ing crashing for no apparent reason.Even because of this issue, people should not complain about the lack of iPhone updates - I have never seen a Nokia, Motorola, or anyone's phone that updates its software and has great apps like the iPhone has.

Negative, I jumped the shark there. Standard update. I can hobble along at 11 mbps yet another week.

It doesn't work ATM, BUT... The dev team has specifically stated that they are confident their method will require hardware changes if apple wants to "fix" it.
