macdailynews.com — Apple has released Bonjour for Windows 1.0.3. Bonjour, also known as zero-configuration networking, enables automatic discovery of computers, devices, and services on IP networks. Bonjour uses industry standard IP protocols to allow devices to automatically discover each other without the need to enter IP addresses or configure DNS servers.

I installed Windows 1.0.1 once, but got loads of garbled text, obviously wasn't compatible with Ati Radeon's ;)

There is a filter. It is called "Your Brain". Apparently though it is not working too well since it lead you to this story. Or are you compelled to post this statement in all Apple related diggs, like you did below?<a class="user" href="http://digg.com/apple/17_MacBook_Pros_coming_at_NAB">http://digg.com/apple/17_MacBook_Pros_coming_at_NAB</a>

Just redesigned my home office over the weekend. Wife is using Windows, I'm on a Mac, and the HP LJ 1200 was moved to my Mac. Shared the printer on the Mac using Windows sharing, which worked, then didn't, then worked, then didn't. On a whim, searched for Bonjour for Windows and that's how I discovered 1.0.2. Once it was downloaded and installed, no reboot required, I was able get her computer to see the printer, to print reliably and quickly through my Mac.It Just Worked...

@Boondoggle who blathered "You're an idiot. Bonjour is based on zeroconf not AppleTalk."Dude, try to not betray your immaturity and ignorance by shouting the first insult that enters your pitiable, clouded mind. From Apple: "In effect, Bonjour combines the functions of a local DNS server and AppleTalk."<a class="user" href="http://developer.apple.com/documentation/Networking/Reference/DNSServiceDiscovery_CRef/dns_sd/index.html">http://developer.apple.com/documentation/Networking/Reference/DNSServiceDiscovery_CRef/dns_sd/index.html</a>
